Wolf
One afternoon we we were starting to explore Lamar Valley, and took a side road to area I had had the good luck to see wildlife in a different setting. There was a small group of viewers of a bison that had been downed earlier. Wolves had been feeding earlier in the day. We settled in to see if they would return. This female (?) approached down the hillside, zig zagging as she cautiously approached. She even sat and watched for a bit. Eventually she snagged piece of the bison and carried it off. Truly an amazing experience!
