Panoramic Views From Roxborough State Park
Did som poking around my favorite State Park this morning with a fellow photographer seeking different vantage points from Lyons Overlook. This overlook is a branch trail off the Fountain Valley Trail and is accessible for most kids and adults. It yields some of the best views, in my opinion, of the geology in the Park.

Thanks Emelyn Morris-Sayre for inviting me to the 5 Day Nature/Wildlife Challenge. Todays image was taken this afternoon in an area where I don’t usually see mule deer. This buck and some of his does were foraging in field along the road outside of Roxborough Park.
Mule Deer in the Snow
It was a snowy Saturday at Roxborough State Park but that did not stop the mule deer from making the presence known. They were foraging along both sides of the entry road, each containing one or more bucks.
