Chicago & Midwest Scenes

I spent the better part of a day walking the Chicago Loop with a high school friend and fellow photographer seeing sites in the City from vantage points he had found over the years. For someone who lived in that area for 50 plus years, much of where we shot from was new to me. So, Thanks, Fred!

In addition to Chicago on this trip, stops were made in Minneapolis for a wedding and Lake Geneva to visit long time friends. Here are a few of my favorites from those stops.

Alexander Calder Exhibit & Denver Botanic Gardens

During Doors Open Denver 2017 vintage, I visited the new Alexander Calder exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Calder is known as one of the most influential American sculptorsĀ of the 20th century and a number of his works are on loan to the Gardens for this exhibit.
