Autumn Colors in Colorado
The changing of the seasons and Mother Nature’s annual color show is upon us here in Colorado. While I missed almost 2 weeks because of travel commitments, there was still plenty to find on returning. Here are a few captures so far. More to come.

Celebrating the Colors of Colorado
Over the past several weeks I have been getting out as I can to capture some of the beauty that paints Colorado each autumn when the aspens change: Green to red to golden. And when the breezes shake the leaves there is a shimmering beauty that is hard to find elsewhere in nature. Enjoy these images taken long Boreas, Guanella, and Kenosha Passes in Clear County and Park County.

It’s fun to take images of the same scene at different times of the day to see how the lighting affects the image. Here we see the Maroon Bells in 3 images taken over about a 15 hour period. In each, the ambient lighting creates a different focal point for the eye.
